There But For The Grace Of Harry Reid…

Megalomania and chutzpah has been redefined with the Senate majority leader’s assertion that without him we’d be in worldwide depression. Unfortunately, he couldn’t save his home state of Nevada.

But what do you expect from someone who thinks two dead colleagues, Sens. Robert Byrd and Ted Kennedy, are among the greatest living Americans? There was Harry Reid, on MSNBC’s “The Ed Show,” saying he should be re-elected because “but for me, we’d be in a worldwide depression.

There’s something sad about a politician who can’t understand why his political career is about to end in a state with 14.4% unemployment and a foreclosure rate five times the national average. Don’t those ungrateful Nevadans understand Harry Reid just saved the world from economic apocalypse?
